The most important factor that affects our health, well-being and all the rest is the success of western philosophy and science (atheistic-based) in making capitalism and democracy in shaping our thinking and our way of life to the extent that, directly or indirectly, we become their instruments to further their ends.

In the context of health and health care, governments and societies are made blind to the fact that drug companies and the so called 'health' related industries and businesses are primarily concerned with the bottom-line, and not the state of humanity. Hence health education and training, like all other activities, have generally become the tool to serve western capitalism.

Only those who are brave can come out of this trap.

When discussing diseases and health from the perspective of Islam, usually we are presented with the 'syifa verses' from the Quran.

Here we present a different approach.

The brief logic is this:

Allah (swt) told us that when He created and sent down diseases together He sent down the cure. (Unfortunately many don't believe in this even though proclaimed to be the People of Faith - they cannot accept what Allah (swt) said yet they claim to be Muslims)

Why we emphasize this? Because Allah (swt) told us to be 'full' Muslim, 100 percent not 99.9 or less, at least in accepting what He and His Prophet Muhammad (saw) told us.

Then comes the next point. Prophet Muhammad (saw) told us about the primary source of diseases when he said that in man there is a piece of flesh, if it's rotten the whole person becomes rotten. He was referring to the heart - here it is not just the physical heart, but more importantly the 'emotional' heart.

Now the next point. Allah (swt) told us that the condition of a nation cannot change unless that nation change it. (It goes also for individual.) That which should be changed is the negativity and negative emotions that Prophet Muhammad (saw) referred to.

This is the key to healing. Together with the fact that Adam was taught all the 'names' holds the secret in the Healing Protocol.
